This cruise was a fantastic value. We have been 3 times and it never gets old. Great for children.
Very cool. The staff go all out, costumes, English 'pirate' accents. Even serve grog. The kids loved it. Praying Harvey doesn't destroy Port A. It's one of my favorite places to go.
When searching for kid friendly attractions in Port A, we came across this "Pirate Adventure" and quickly purchased tickets for an evening cruise so the grandkids could have a little fun before turning in for the evening. The whole cruise was boring, not only to the kids, but the parents as well. It wasn't anything like the hype and it sure wasn't worth the price paid. I agree with the previous post, in that I was also surprised when they passed a bucket for tips. We purchased toys on land for the kids and then again on the boat. Paying $5.00 for a plastic water pistol worth no more than .98 cents is well... profit? After the cruise, my wife and I decided to never do it again and that we would have rather been aboard a dolphin tour boat... at least the kids had a hands on experience with aquatic life. And, as the pirate crew so adamantly pointed out, "those of us with fancy cameras may want to take advantage of the sunset behind the lighthouse". Thank you! I did!
Cruise was fun for kids. I would recommend "Pirates" not talk the whole time it became annoying to continuously hear them. Entertainment aboard needs more music and dancing. Grown ups want to be part of it too! Snacks are fairly priced. Restrooms available on board. Souvenirs are cheap quality. Pictures for sale on board as well as drinks. Boat is very cute. Not sure if I would pay to board this again. Tickets are a bit overpriced. All members should receive a pirate themed item when boarding.
The cruise was about 2 hrs long plus a quick magic show on land before you board. The Pirates were funny and entertaining. It is geared more towards young kids. Our group was adults and teens but still enjoyed the ride and the show. The kids got to shoot water guns, sword fight and had a treasure hunt. It's a little pricey, but we did see lots of dolphins and had some entertainment. Oh and the dance contest was fun to watch. Lady Crimson and Barnacle Bill were great!
