The place was being remodeled. The room I staying in was very nice and clean. There just wasn't a place outside to hose down from coming in from the beach which meant you brought in a lot of sand in the room.
Location is great, close to the beach. Price is great also. Staff was pleasant enough. Rooms were not in especially good shape. Pretty much just a bed, a TV, and a shower.
Ok for the price. The toilet was not properly installed so it moved around a lot when you sat down. The water pressure was a little low in the shower but for the price you get what you pay for. Pet Friendly was a plus!
This place is horrible.. Do not waste your money or take chances on getting any kind of bugs. Our first room had ants. The room they moved us to afterwards had cockroaches, and that was their newest upgraded king size bed room. In order to make things right they offered me two 15% off coupon (like I would ever stay there again).. I have never been so disappointed in a vacation.
The staff was so caring and friendly. They were genuinely interested in how our stay was and they gave us a discount for our anniversary. If you're picky about looks, then you should pay more for a place you will spend little time in. They are very clean. For a cheaper motel, they are great. The breakfast is pretty good. I can't express how great they made our stay. I am very satisfied and will definately come back. If you're tight on cash but wanna stay on the island, this is your place. Plus the beach is a straight shot just down the road.
