Never been here for dinner, but I can tell you that the lunch specials are very good! We always sit at the bar and the bartenders have always been really good to us. It's friendly and very beachy, the staff genuinely seems to like each other and like working there, the managers are always visible and seem to do a great job keeping the place ship shape. The food has never been anything but good, they have a prime rib sandwich special that is my very favorite dish in all of Port A. The fish tacos are my close second. It can get very busy, but I have never personally waited too long for my food. I have nothing but good memories of eating here, one of my favorite things to do when I am in town!
Our waiter Stevie was awesome and the food was delicious! The staff needs to be more people friendly. We eat here frequently and it was a disappointment.
The service here was amazing. We came during peak hours and sat at the bar as we waited. The bar tender was awesome and she took care of us. Our waitress was extremely attentive and kind. The food... the food was phenomenal! The shrimp are HUGE, the house sauce for the coconut shrimp was perfectly balanced between sweet and somewhat spicy, and the hush puppies were unique and very tasty!! I'm quite impressed with it.
I was very excited to try this place, and unfortunately was completely let down. After arriving we were told there was an hour wait, we decided to grab some drinks and wait outside. The drinks were very weak and the bartender was very unprofessional. After waiting an hour we went back to the hostess and asked how much longer and she said "um I don't maybe another 30 minutes."... after pointing out the several open tables we where finally seated. Here's where it started to turn around. Our server was amazing and for the most part our food was good. The only complaint I can think of with the food, is our French fries where soggy and cold. While the desert menu was small, everything was amazing. Unfortunately I don't think we won't be back, and I don't think I would recommend this place.
Cool we get there and told us they only needed to find a server to serve us on the patio. To me the neatest thing was they opened it just for us, found a server and had a wonderful meal! I found the stuff a little pricy but it's seafood. I had the grilled fish and shrimp with rice and vegetables. Wow! I want to mention I normally don't care for rice but really enjoyed theirs and veggies were to die for!!!! It was all delicious honestly! The kiddos enjoyed there fried fish fries and choice of fruit or pudding!
Dog friendly! Originally the wait was going to be an hour on Tuesday around 745 pm, we left, other dog friendly places were busy as well. Called back with in 20 minutes of leaving they said maybe 10 min!
The hostess we had tonight was very rude to my husband when he asked her how much longer the wait was. We arrived at 9pm and she told us 30 minutes. 40 minutes later, my husband asked her how much longer and she said about 10 minutes. She was a smart a** back and stated "you showing me the number (the number on buzzer) isn't going to get you seated faster!" Meanwhile everyone else that came in behind us was seated and we were seated last at 10:10pm.
