Great place to explore. Would be excellent for school field trips. Can be in & out in 30 minutes or if you have more time you can spend it in their wetland area or looking at birds. Good experience.

I love to take my grandbbys Dominic&Geovanni they explore all diffrent kinds of fossils....&read intersting things about the ocean..&sea animals....we go every year....still enjoy everything about the museum. ....love it love it

The place was very nice but not much to do.

There's an outdoor circular trail that takes you out towards a wetland viewing area. It looked pleasant enough but there is scant shade. Inside there are about six aquarium tanks, and given the modest collection there was a surprising variety of aquatic life on display: Flounder, Tang fish, seahorses, starfish, puffer fish, and the cutest little bumble bee fish (he's in a tank with larger fish so look for him!). Plus there's an awesome Fin Whale jawbone on display, along with a Dolphin skeleton. It's worth 15 minutes of your time if you're in the area. It's free, but they do accept contributions. There's also a small gift shop.
