This is an amazing park. Extremely well run and very reasonable. The owners, Victoria and Brandon are friendly and knowledgeable about Port Aransas. Surfside RV and Resort is conveniently located walking distance to the beach. It is also located near restaurants and shopping. It has a nice registration area and office. The park is very organized and clean. We love the newly renovated pool. It is the perfect way to begin or end the day. We always enjoy staying at this park!
Although small and a little difficult for the bigger rigs, it is worth the effort. As reported by many here, and my wife and I agree, the owners are great folks. Independent and family owned makes a huge difference in the quality of service. They opened up their community room for our family to gather. We were spread out over the island and this allowed us all to get together and have a shrimp boil. We really stunk up the place and dirtied most every pot and pan (we cleaned it all up, of course). They were happy to accommodate our family and just told us to lock up when finished.
Nice RV park! Super nice staff. Condo above RV office is adorable! Will be here for a few more days...but so far it has been great!!
Clean, well maintained RV park. Friendly staff. I would give it 5 stars, but this RV campground is not big rig friendly. I had to get 3 people to move their vehicles in order to get my RV out of my pull through spot. From what I understand this is normal tightness for the beach RV resorts, but when you spend your whole vacation wondering if you are going to be able to get your RV unstuck and having a front yard that had as much sewer hose as it did front yard, it kind of ruins vacation.
This is a small Park having only around 40-50 spots with no tent camping or cottages available. The owner Brandon and Victoria are super nice and we have enjoyed our stay here. Don;t expect a lot of amenities, but the location is super, only a block or so to the beach and Port Aransas is a good place to stay and explore. The park is very well maintained, restrooms are clean and look newly remodeled. Pool and hot tub are very nice as well. You will not be disappointed.
