Best of the county and state parks we've camped at so far. Friendly helpful staff that are always available. Clean, wide campsites. Super clean bath house, always well stocked and air conditioned. Nice beachfront park with covered picnic tables. Easy access. We have stayed at other parks on Mustang Island, this is without hesitation the overall best.

Decent beach for the area. Packed full of seashells. Also packed full of people. Definitely wouldn't want to only visit this beach. There are plenty of other beaches in the area to check out.

And of course the beach is the beach... This may not be the best stretch but it is still beautiful beach!

Was nice morning on the beach there coming back to life. Can't say enough about the Waterburger on Alister st they were awesome manger was thanking everyone that was getting food as they left the drive through. Was great!!!

Soft sand, and blowing winds means you will be sand blasted. But the park is great. The jetty is always a blast to walk. The dolphins and sea turtles are fun to watch and when it gets too hot you jump in the gulf.

Quickest and easiest slice of beach right off the ferry... Which means a lot of people stop here. It gets packed. The jetty is a great place to fish and explore, but finding a little but of beach to yourself is a tall order. They have rails set up so you can't park by the water, thats good for families with kids but not for families who have to carry a bunch of stuff from their car. Caldwell Pier is one of the best surf spots on Padre Island.
